Universal Studios Hollywood
Firstly we did a tram tour which gave a good overview of the studios. There were video clips shown on the tram. It went through various stages - King Kong, Curse of the Mummies and Earthquake. On past New York streets, European streets, sitcom stages, jaws shark lake and the parting of The Red Sea. |

Like Disneyland they put on a number of shows. We went to the Wild West Show, Waterworld Show, an Animal Actors Show and Backdraft - a simulated fire scene in a chemical factory. We also went on some rides - Terminator2, a Space Show ride, and a Back to the Future ride. We also saw a cinematic display showing some of the tricks and sound effects. Lastly we went to a static display of a tribute to Lucille Ball. A great day. |
